THE VILE VINEYARD

PANIC is a magazine anthology of original dark fantasy and horror stories and poems, with illustration, about people who are so frightened that they do things no sane person would do in order to cope with their terrifying circumstances. The works in PANIC often contain an element of fantasy or science fiction.

The fright that causes the "panic" is in some cases blatant, in other cases subtle. PANIC considers the causes and results of that "panic" in terms of what the protagonist does that is "out of character," with the bottom lime of chills and shivers for the reader.

The following is the currently confirmed list of stories to appear in PANIC:

C. Dennis Moore: In The Veins

Tyree Campbell: Road Rage

Rhonda Eudaly: Patience

Robert Downs: Blood And Diamonds [are forever]

Michael C. Hefferman: Cold As Hell

E. Sedia: Still Life In The Mirror

PANIC, edited by L. A. Story Houry and published by Sam's Dot Publishing, is scheduled for publication on 1 August 2005. You can order a copy from The Genre Mall at http://www.genremall.com/anthologies.htm. Please scroll to the cover, a sample of which is below. Order copies for friends, too.
